When band director Wyman Martin took the job at Danville Senior High School in rural Iowa, he knew he had a lot of rebuilding to do. Though a loyal Stanbury Uniform client at his past schools, he also knew he would probably have to put getting quality uniforms on the back burner, as so many other needs took priority.
However, plans quickly changed when he learned that the powerhouse band program from Eagan High School near Minneapolis had just gotten a brand-new set of Stanbury Uniforms and were willing to sell their now-old set at a great price. Seizing the opportunity, Mr. Martin drove the 6-hour 1-way trip himself to make sure he could put his students in Stanbury Uniforms.
Mr. Wyman explains "I didn't think I was ever going to get Stanbury Uniforms when I got to the Danville program. Now, with this set of Stanburys, we can play with the Big Dogs!"
Brent Turner, Stanbury's representative in the Minnesota/Iowa/Wisconsin region, says that the Danville band is the David in "David and Goliath", and that the efforts Mr. Wyman is putting into this program are "truly amazing, and this program is really on a roll! Mr. Martin recognizes quality in all he does for his students, and going to such lengths to get Stanbury Uniforms is just one example of the great work going on at Danville Senior High School".
Thanks to Eagan High School for the generous help and to Wyman Martin - welcome back to the Stanbury family! We at Stanbury Uniforms are proud to have the students of Danville Senior High School Band wear our product!
