The Ohio State School for the Blind - the only blind marching band in the nation (possibly the world) - has been accepted to march in the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
When we at Stanbury Uniforms were made aware of this band's acceptance to the parade we immediately made contact and discovered the band was wearing hand-me-down used band uniforms.
Stanbury's Ohio representative Dwight Miller then went to great lengths to make sure that these exceptional young people would look their best in this parade and worked closely with their staff to outfit both the young band members and their adult guides.
The 32 band members, 35 marching assistants and 3 band staff of the "OSSBMB" will strut down Colorado Boulevard in new Stanbury Uniforms, custom-made with XtremeDri moisture-wicking fabric.
Stanbury Uniforms is proud to support these special musicians and performers as they join other outstanding “Stanbury” bands in the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade!
