Six-time Drum Corps International World Champion Santa Clara Vanguard and DCI Open Class Finalist Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets have chosen Stanbury, Inc. to provide uniforms for the 2008 competitive season and beyond.
“The word vanguard itself means leading edge” states Vanguard director Jeff Pearson, “We work hard to be true to that definition.” Debuting a fresh look created by the Vanguard creative team and brought to life by Stanbury design artist Brent Becker, this years’ Vanguard uniform underscores the corps’ commitment to leading edge artistry while keeping the corps’ legendary identity intact. “Working with artist Brent Becker, Regional Manager Pat Seidling and the whole Stanbury production team has been a pleasure” says Mr. Pearson.
Also debuting Stanbury Synergy Washable Uniforms for the 2008 season is the ever-popular Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets. An 8-time Drum Corps International Open Class Finalist and the DCI A Class Champion in 2000, the Vanguard Cadets continually set the bar for excellence in the Open Class arena. Director Rob Ripley teamed with Stanbury design artist Brent Becker to create a completely new look for the corps. “Not only will fans take notice the moment we enter the stadium, but we’ve also added features to the uniform that will allow for unique design changes from year to year” states Mr. Ripley.

Senior corps powerhouse and 6-time reigning DCA Champion Reading Buccaneers round out the roster of drum and bugle corps wearing Stanbury Synergy Washable Uniforms in 2008.
